Marshall really screwed the pooch with this lowest bidder board design, and Antique Electronics has the solution at hand. ![]() ![]() To make matters worse, these original boards could take expensive parts like transformers right down the drain with them, so why chance it? Ask yourself, and your customer, 'Do you like this amp enough to spend $350-$500 for a new board, and maybe another $200-$600 for transformers? These amps will definitely be much more reliable than they ever were before. Sometimes you NEED to ere on the side of caution, especially with the good sounding, but poorly made DSL series, and just replace this board, & be done with it BEFORE you waste three to five days pulling your hair out, only to realize the original board is junk, and you cannot make that amp go again without a buying new one.
